My husband Joe has  kept bees for over 50 years, since he was a boy. After being accepted by the Canadian High Commission in the UK; we landed in Canada on the 2nd of December, 2000. After 3 months of searching we finally found an acreage, in a good area with a variation of crops, pasture land, including land belonging to Ducks Unlimited. This was where we would  settle with our two daughters.
We Started off with 4 hives May 2001 and gradually grew, that's when we decided to start selling our honey at the local farmers market in 2002, customers liked our product; this was the start of "Coal Lake Honey Farm"
Our Honey House was built in the spring of 2004. Since then we haven't looked back and have increased the number of products, by introducing: face and body creams/lotions and natural lip balms made with natural beeswax and raw honey. Also available are a selection of Pure Beeswax candles.   
Gift bags, boxes or baskets are available and can also be made up to suit your requirements.
